7th COASTANCE MEETING IN DUBROVNIK 

The 7th Coastance Steering & Technical Committee meeting and the field trip to the Croatian coast were held last 9 and 10 June 2011 at hotel Argosy, in Dubrovnik (Croatia). 

At the opening of the SCM, partners were welcomed on behalf of the President of Dubrovnic Neretva Region, Mr Nikola Dobroslavic, and Regional Development Agency Dunea, in the person of Ms Andrea Novakovic. After the opening intervention of the lead partner, Mr Christos Partsias (REMTH), partners discussed the financial and managerial state of art.

Then, the floor was given to the component leaders and their technical consultants. Mr Philippe Carbonnel and Mr Alexandre Richard intervened on Component 3; Mr Roberto Montanari and Mr Christian Marasmi made an intervention on Component 4; and Mr Paolo Lupino, Mr Piergiorgio Scaloni and Ms Silvia Bellacicco presented Component 5.

The lead partner also presented the Communication Plan and partners agreed to hold next meeting in Cyprus in October 20th-22nd.

The field trip consisted in a visit to Neretva Valley in the morning. Project associates and experts from Dubrovnik region presented the state of the art and coastal related issues concerning Neretva Delta. In the afternoon, partners visited the archaelogical museum Narona
